Minimum Wage Analysis with Multivariate Imputation by Chained Equation

Open the vignette in a new page

The aim of this vignette is to replicate and enhance Card and Krueger’s (1994) analysis of the effect of an increase in the minimum wage on unemployment by using Multivariate Imputation by Chained Equations (MICE).

The aim is to enhance our understanding of multiple imputation and its use for econometric studies. Therefore, this vignette will show how to multiply impute Card and Krueger’s dataset and how to use the imputed data for the econometric analysis. The main objective is to increase your knowledge and understanding on applications of multiple imputation.
